Golf Putting – Develop Your Stroke

Golf PuttingRule number one for practicing your Golf Putting stroke; practice on a level surface. If you miss a practice putt on uneven ground you won’t know if your stroke or the break were the problem. In a correct golf putting stroke, the putter will be brought straight back from the ball.

Once the golf ball has been struck the putter continues through the stroke. The head of the putter must remain square with your desired line at all times. Practicing your golf putting skills with your eyes shut is also a great way to become more aware of your body mechanics. You will notice every nuance of your body’s movement when you are deprived of your sense of sight.
